Tom Nolan continues to prove his UFC debut was an outlier.
After securing a third-round TKO win over Renato Moicano in the main event of Saturday's UFC Fight Night card, the Aussie extended his undefeated run.
Nolan's career under the banner began with a first-round loss to Nikolas Motta back in 2024, but since then he's worked his way through the lightweight ranks with six consecutive wins — three by stoppage.
He entered the night as the No. 12 fighter at 155 pounds, but after dispatching not only the No. 9-ranked fighter in the division but also a former title challenger in Moicano, Nolan is sure to shoot up the leaderboard.
His victory also earned him a performance of the night bonus for the second time in three appearances.
As for Moicano, the loss comes as his third defeat in his last four UFC bouts. Since losing his title shot against Islam Makhachev via first-round submission in 2025, the Brazilian has struggled to build much momentum.
Elsewhere on the rest of the 12-fight card, there were a total of five early endings, including two by doctor's stoppage. The most notable of which were Joe Kropschot winning his UFC debut via armbar submission and Julian Erosa ending his career on a high note by knocking out Jeongyeong Lee in less than two minutes.
The UFC returns on Nov. 7 with another Fight Night card from the Meta APEX facility in Las Vegas, headlined by a heavyweight bout between No. 6-ranked Waldo Cortes Acosta and division newbie Johnny Walker, who's making just his second appearance in the weight class after moving up from 205 pounds.
