A pair of skilled lightweight submission artists have been booked for an early April main event at the Meta Apex.
Renato Moicano will take on Chris Duncan on April 4 in Las Vegas in a 155-pound contest scheduled for five rounds, the UFC confirmed.
Brazil’s Moicano, 36, will be looking to snap a two-fight skid when he steps into the cage for the third UFC main event of his career. Moicano stopped Benoit Saint Denis with strikes at UFC Paris in September of 2024 and lost in the featured bout of UFC 311 in January 2025 when he stepped in to face then-champion Islam Makhachev on one day’s notice 13 months ago.
Scotland’s Duncan, 32, is on a roll with three submission wins on his current four-fight streak. Duncan went 3-0 in 2025 and is coming off consecutive back-and-forth brawls with Mateusz Rebecki and Terrance McKinney, the latter of whom he ended up submitting in a wild half-round bout.
Despite his recent losing streak, Moicano remains the No. 10-ranked lightweight contender as of this matchup being announced, while Duncan is looking to break into the rankings with a win in what will be his first UFC main event.
Below are the matchups currently slated for the April 4 card with the bout order to be determined closer to the date of the event:
