A featherweight matchup between Steve Garcia and David Onama is set for the main event of a UFC Fight Night card later this year.
The UFC announced Wednesday the 145-pound ranked contenders will meet in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Nov. 1.
Garcia, 33, has won six in a row with five of them via KO/TKO and is ranked No. 12 in the division. He is coming off a decision win over Calvin Kattar in July.
Onama, 31, is ranked No. 13 and has won four in a row including an April decision over Giga Chikadze.
The UFC also confirmed a heavyweight matchup between Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Ante Delija is set for the card. Cortes-Acosta had his five-fight win streak snapped by Sergei Pavlovich in August, while Delija recently won his UFC debut by knocking out Marcin Tybura in Paris, France at the beginning of September.
A featherweight bout between Yadier del Valle and Isaac Dulgarian, plus a middleweight contest between Donte Johnson and Nick Klein have been made official by the organization.
