The UFC has filled out its events schedule through to mid-June.
UFC president Dana White announced several new matchups for the organization's upcoming slate during a livestream Thursday night, including one blockbuster title fight and the addition of several new Fight Night main events throughout April, May and June.
The UFC has held six events through the first nine weeks of 2025 – three numbered events and three Fight Night cards – and the organization’s schedule was already booked solid through the first half of May though not all the fight cards have been fully filled out.
UFC Freedom 250, the UFC’s anticipated White House card, was previously announced but White confirmed all the other headline bouts leading up to that special June 14 event.
White, along with host and play-by-play announcer Brendan Fitzgerald and analyst Michael Bisping, went through each event on the upcoming schedule chronologically starting with the UFC 327 card on April 11.
Below are all the events White confirmed, plus each main event and any new matchups that were announced:
April 11, UFC 327 (Miami)
Main event: Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg (for vacant light-heavyweight title)
Co-main event: Joshua Van vs. Tatsuro Taira (for men’s flyweight title)
No new matchups for this card were announced but longtime featherweight contender Cub Swanson's management did recently confirmed his bout with Nate Landwehr in Miami will be the final fight of his MMA career.
April 18, Fight Night (Winnipeg)
Main event: Gilbert Burns vs. Mike Malott
Co-main event: Charles Jourdain vs. Kyler Phillips
Fans in Manitoba will have plenty of Canadian content to cheer on with Ontario's Malott in the main event and Quebec's Jourdain in the co-feature.
April 25, Fight Night (Meta Apex)
Main event: Aljamain Sterling vs. Youssef Zalal
This card was originally scheduled to be headlined by Sean Brady vs. Joaquin Buckley but that welterweight scrap was moved to UFC 328 (see below). Sterling, a former 135-pound champion, is the No. 5-ranked contender at 145 pounds with Zalal rising to No. 7 thanks to an eight-fight winning streak.
May 2, Fight Night (Perth, Australia)
Main event: Jack Della Maddalena vs. Carlos Prates
Co-main event: Beneil Dariush vs. Quillan Salkilld
Dariush was scheduled to face Manuel Torres at UFC 327 but Torres withdrew with an injury and Dariush stepped in to face Australia’s touted Salkilld. This event is scheduled to take place in primetime for the locals and early morning for a North American audience.
May 9, UFC 328 (Newark, N.J.)
Main event: Khamzat Chimaev vs. Sean Strickland (for middleweight title)
New announced bouts: Alexander Volkov vs. Waldo Cortes-Acosta; Sean Brady vs. Joaquin Buckley; Jan Blachowicz vs. Bogdan Guskov 2; Jeremy Stephens vs. Bobby "King" Green; Ateba Gautier vs. Osman Diaz; Roman Kopylov vs. Marco Tulio; Clayton Carpenter vs. Jose Ochoa
The UFC 328 news was the biggest announcement of the batch with a grudge match at the top of the card.
“How much security do you think we’ll need for Chimaev vs. Strickland?” White asked with a laugh, alluding to how much both fighters dislike one another.
May 16, Fight Night (Meta Apex)
Main event: Arnold Allen vs. Melquizael Costa
This is a matchup of ranked featherweight contenders heading in opposite directions. Brazil's Costa has won six in a row and England's Allen has lost his past three all by decision. This will be Allen's third UFC Fight Night main event and Costa's first.
May 30, Fight Night (Macau)
Main event: Song Yadong vs. Deiveson Figueiredo
Co-main event: Zhang Mingyang vs. Alonzo Menifield
New announced bouts: Sergei Pavlovich vs. Tallison Teixeira
This event is scheduled to take place in primetime for the locals, which means it will be an early morning card for fight fans in North America.
June 6, Fight Night (Meta Apex)
Main event: Belal Muhammad vs. Gabriel Bonfim
Bonfim will be looking for the biggest win of his career when he meets the former champion who's looking to bounce back from consecutive losses to Della Maddalena and Ian Machado Garry.
June 14, UFC Freedom 250 (Washington, D.C.)
Main event: Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje (lightweight title unification bout)
Co-main event: Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane (for interim heavyweight title)
Other announced bouts: Sean O'Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi; Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler; Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus; Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia
White announced the pre-fight press conference for this event will take place at the Lincoln Memorial. He also announced there will be space at a nearby park where approximately 85,000 spectators will be able to watch the event.
