The octagon will return to Newark, New Jersey on June 1 for UFC 302, the UFC announced Saturday.
Newark will host an event for the first time since UFC 288 in 2023. It will be the tenth UFC event hosted in the arena.
While the headliner is still to be determined, the following bouts for the event have already been announced by the UFC:
Roman Dolidze vs. Anthony Hernandez
Ailin Perez vs. Joselyne Edwards
Grant Dawson vs. Joe Solecki
Phil Rowe vs. Jake Matthews
Mickey Gall vs. Bassil Hafez
"The city of Newark and Prudential Center have always been great partners to us," said UFC President & CEO Dana White in a statement. "After setting a new arena record last year, I wanted to bring another huge event back to New Jersey to kick-off the summer with another big UFC event. UFC 302 is going to be fun!"
