For the first time in eight years, the UFC is returning to the City of Stars.
Los Angeles will once more play host to the UFC when the octagon sets up at Crypto.com Arena for UFC 331 on Sept. 19, it was announced Saturday.
The city hasn't hosted a UFC event since UFC 227: Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt 2, back in August of 2018.
No fights have been officially announced yet for the September card, however, a few fights were scheduled to take place at 331 before the time and place were set in stone.
For one, former bantamweight challenger Marlon Vera is scheduled to face off against Canada's Charles Jourdain after their fight, originally set to take place at UFC Fight Night: du Plessis vs. Usman, was rescheduled to this event.
This will be the sixth UFC event to take place in Los Angeles. The first event in the Californian metropolis was back in May 2006, for UFC 60: Hughes vs. Gracie. Every event L.A. has hosted has been a numbered pay-per-view card.
