Macklin Celebrini continues to impress on the international stage.
The 19-year-old from North Vancouver was named an all-star at the 2026 world championships despite Canada losing the bronze medal Sunday to Norway in a stunning overtime upset.
Celebrini finished the tournament second in scoring, potting six goals and 14 points in 10 games. He led the Canadians in scoring and was four points ahead of Sidney Crosby, who had 10 points in 10 games.
Also named to the all-star team are forwards Aleksander Barkov, Sven Andrighetto — who led the tournament in scoring with 15 points — defencemen Henri Jokiharju and Roman Josi, as well as goaltender Leonardo Genoni.
Josi was named tournament MVP just after his Switzerland side fell to Finland in the gold-medal game.
The Nashville Predators captain led all blue-liners in scoring, with five goals and 12 points.
