Alexander Radulov has company in the CHL record books.
Gavin Mckenna has tied Radulov for the longest point streak in a single CHL season this century with a goal for the Medicine Hat Tigers in Game 1 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The point on Friday night marks McKenna's 50th game in a row with him on the scoresheet. The first game in this streak was Nov. 6 when he scored a goal and two assists, also against the Hurricanes.
The 17-year-old showed off his elite release with a beautiful wrist shot for the record. In the last 50 games, he has totalled 39 goals and 84 assists.
Radulov set the record for the most points in a single season in 2005-06 with the Québec Remparts of the QMJHL.
