WNBA fans in Vancouver are in danger of missing an opportunity to watch the reigning league MVP.
A'ja Wilson is questionable for the Las Vegas Aces' game in Vancouver against the Toronto Tempo on Sunday night with a back injury, according to the WNBA injury report.
Wilson, 30, is averaging 25.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and two blocks per contest over 35 games this season. She has missed just three games this year due to a previous ankle injury.
The four-time MVP leads the WNBA in scoring and blocks, and is tied for third in rebounding.
Meanwhile, the Tempo will also be without their stars, along with plenty of other regulars.
Marina Mabrey will miss a third straight game with an adductor injury, and Brittney Sykes will also be sidelined after leaving the Tempo's win over the Portland Fire on Friday with a foot injury.
Sykes had just returned from missing 18 straight games due to plantar fasciitis in the same foot. Aneesah Morrow also left against the Fire with a knee injury and rounds out the Tempo's extensive injury report with Nyara Sabally (calf) and Maria Conde (calf).
The Tempo will aim to continue their momentum despite the injuries after snapping a WNBA-high 12-game losing streak on Friday.
