There will be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals.
When and where it takes place, however, is far less secure.
The Atlanta Dream, Golden State Valkyries, Atlanta Hawks, WNBA and NBA remain in negotiations over potentially holding the potential title-clinching game at the Hawks' State Farm Arena on Thursday, ESPN's Alexa Phillippou and Ramona Shelburne reported on Sunday.
However, the Hawks are scheduled to host the Cleveland Cavaliers that night.
The Dream typically play their regular-season games at 3,000-seat Gateway Center Arena, but have played all five home playoff games at State Farm Arena, which seats 17,000.
"We continue to explore all options," a WNBA spokesperson told ESPN.
The teams and leagues previously struck a deal to move Games 3 and 4 of the Finals to State Farm Arena, working around another Hawks home game in the process.
Potential solutions include holding Game 6 as planned Thursday at Gateway Center Arena, moving the Hawks-Cavaliers game to another date or moving Game 6 of the WNBA Finals to Friday when State Farm Arena is free.
However, the third option would require bumping Game 7 back from when it is scheduled Saturday until Tuesday. Still, the WNBA would support the idea if the teams agree, ESPN reported.
The Dream and Valkyries are tied 2-2 in the Finals after Golden State's 67-62 win in Game 4 on Saturday.
