The Toronto Tempo are adding some guard depth.
Zaay Green signed a developmental contract with the WNBA club, it announced on Tuesday.
Green, a 26-year-old from Duncanville, Texas, was selected by the Washington Mystics in the third round of last year's draft but never appeared in a game.
She is coming off a 51-game stint across Lithuania, Mexico and Cyprus in which she averaged 12.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
Green played for four different NCAA colleges before finishing at Alabama, where she led the Crimson Tide in scoring during her senior year.
The Tempo have lost nine straight games following a 107-95 defeat to the Atlanta Dream on Monday.
