The Toronto Tempo are moving on from a frontcourt piece.
Nikolina Milic, who was with the team on a hardship exemption, was waived by the WNBA team, it announced Thursday.
Milic, 32, appeared in seven games with the Tempo, averaging three points and 1.3 rebounds over nine minutes per contest.
The Serbian centre joined the Tempo in the expansion draft from the Connecticut Sun.
Her release could indicate that veteran forward Isabelle Harrison, who has missed the entire season since suffering a right hand injury in training camp, may be ready to return as soon as the team's next game, Sunday against the Chicago Sky.
