Marina Mabrey's 53-point game left little doubt.
The Toronto Tempo star was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday after her record-tying performance.
Mabrey's scoring outburst on Thursday against the Los Angeles Sparks matched the all-time WNBA record, while she also made a record-tying nine-three pointers in the Tempo's 125-97 win.
Toronto's point total set a WNBA regulation-time record.
"Marina has been playing with tremendous confidence and leadership," head coach Sandy Brondello said in a statement. "To see her make history the way she did while continuing to lead our group is incredibly special. This recognition is well deserved."
Mabrey finished the week with per-game averages of 38 points, five rebounds and three assists across two contests while shooting 55.6 per cent from the field and 46.2 per cent from three-point range.
She also won the conference's player-of-the-week honours at the end of May.
