Czechia scores late to beat Slovakia at World Juniors

Gabriel Szturc, scored with late in the third period to lead Czechia past Slovakia to open the World Junior Hockey Championship

Jan Mysak and Michal Gut each had a goal and an assist for Czechia while Jan Bednar made 24 saves to pick up the win.

Matej Kaslik scored two goals for Slovakia while Simon Latkoczy made 42 saves.
