Knight cements G.O.A.T. status with dominant performance in gold medal game

It was another classic showdown between Canada and the United States in the final of the world women’s hockey championship with Hilary Knight putting on a performance for the ages.

The American captain scored a hat trick including a pair of goals in the third period to lead her team to a 6-3 win for their 10th gold medal.

Knight’s three goals now give her 101 points at the world championship, making her the first player to hit the century mark.
