The Toronto Blue Jays have added to their relief pitching depth by claiming Neil Ramirez off waivers Thursday.

The 27-year-old right-hander made nine appearances for the San Francisco Giants before getting designated for assignment last Sunday.

Ramirez pitched 10.1 innings, posting a 13.06 ERA with 18 strikeouts and four walks. He allowed 15 earned runs and two home runs.
