The Toronto Blue Jays announced their minor league staff on Monday, and it includes a few new names including Hall of Fame hopeful Tim Raines.

As was reported last week by multiple sources, the former Montreal Expos star is joining the organization as its outfield and baserunning coordinator.

Raines will learn on Wednesday whether he will need to book some time off in July to attend his Cooperstown induction ceremony.

Other noteworthy additions to the staff include Team Canada mainstay Stubby Clapp (Dunedin hitting coach) and former major league hitting coach Mike Barnett (hitting coordinator).

Tim Leiper, a coach on Ernie Whitt’s Team Canada WBC coaching staff, has been hired to fill the new position of senior advisor.

In a somewhat surprising move, Sal Fasano will not return as manager of the double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2013. Fasano will remain in the organization as catching coordinator, while Gary Allenson will take his seat in New Hampshire.

At single-A Dunedin Bobby Meacham takes over for Mike Redmond, who was hired as the Miami Marlins manager.

Marty Brown will continue to serve as the Blue Jays triple-A manager as the team moves from Las Vegas to Buffalo.
