Joe Carter endorses Bautista’s HR celebration

The Blue Jays vs. Orioles rivalry got heated again on Tuesday night as Jose Bautista and Adam Jones went at it. Here's how they interpreted the on-field drama Wednesday.

“Touch ’em all Joe! You’ll never hit a bigger home run in your life!”

If anyone knows how to ‘pimp out’ a home run, it’s Toronto Blue Jays legend Joe Carter (with some great accompaniment from Tom Cheek).

Carter, who is best known for his walk-off home run in the 1993 World Series, had no problem with the way Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista celebrated his homer after having a ball thrown behind him in Tuesday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles.

On Wednesday, Carter tweeted directly to Bautista:

Following Tuesday’s contest, Orioles star Adam Jones called Bautista’s reaction “uncalled for.”

Clearly, Carter doesn’t share Jones’ views on the matter.
