Ryan Dempster is holding his ground on his free agent price.
With a lack of established starters on the free agent market, the veteran is looking to sign a three-year deal, Dempster’s agent told Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
According to reports, a number of teams are said to be interested in the 35-year-old Dempster, including the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Minnesota Twins.

According to Haudricourt, Dempster has mutual interest in the Brewers but the team has been unwilling to commit beyond two years.
With the Chicago Cubs from 2008-11, Dempster pitched 200 innings or more each season.
He was traded to the Texas Rangers in the middle of the 2012. With the Rangers, Dempster posted a 7-3 record with a 5.09 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 79 innings.
