The Toronto Raptors will be without C.J. Miles versus the Indiana Pacers on Friday after the birth of his daughter.

Miles will miss his first matchup as a Raptor against his former team. The 30 year-old veteran was traded to Toronto from Indiana in the off-season in a deal that sent point guard Cory Joseph to the Indiana Pacers. Joseph, who has been solid for the Pacers and is shooting 46 per cent from deep, is expected to play.
Acquired in part to help the Raptors’ shooting, Miles has been a key part of the team’s impressive second unit. He’s tying a career-high in three-point attempts (6.4) and hitting 41.2 per cent of them — just 0.1 per cent shy of his career-best set last season.
The team travels to Atlanta for a game against the Hawks on Saturday, but it remains to be seen if Miles will be available.
Toronto (11-6) and Indiana (10-8) tip-off at 8 p.m. ET with live coverage beginning at 7:30 on Sportsnet One.
