Canadian Hockey League Playoffs Continue On Sportsnet with Portland vs. Kelowna, Friday

TORONTO (April 16, 2014) Sportsnet’s coverage of the 2014 Canadian Hockey League playoffs continues on Friday Night Hockey as the Portland Winterhawks take on the Kelowna Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Hockey League’s Western Conference championship series on Friday, April 18 at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific.

 

The second-place Winterhawks head into the series looking to win their fourth consecutive Western Conference championship, but will face tough competition against the league-leading Rockets. The series winner will continue on to compete for WHL’s Ed Chynoweth Cup against the Eastern Conference champ.

 

This week’s Friday Night Hockey playoff broadcast features host Jeff Marek in-studio with HOCKEY CENTRAL analyst John Shannon. Live from Prospera Place in Kelowna, RJ Broadhead handles the play-by-play alongside analyst Sam Cosentino.
