Sports Illustrated published a recent poll of 161 NHL players that named Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf as the most overrated player in the league for the second consecutive year.

Fan Fuel wants to know if you agree or if you think someone else deserves the title?

According to the poll, Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin came in second with eight percent of the vote, with Phaneuf tops at 20 percent.

The remaining eight players on the list of ten were Montreal Canadiens forward Scott Gomez, and Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo, Minnesota Wild winger Dany Heatley, New Jersey Devils forward Ilya Kovalchuk, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Vincent Lecavalier, Calgary Flames defenceman Jay Bouwmeester, Canucks forward Ryan Kesler and Leafs defenceman Mike Komisarek.

Is there someone on the above list that you feel is more overrated than Phaneuf, or is there another player that wasn’t mentioned that you feel deserves the title.

In my opinion, the title should have gone to Kovalchuk. Disagree?
