ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — A snowstorm hasn’t prevented the Buffalo Bills from making roster changes after being awarded the right to claim tight end MarQuies Gray.

The Bills announced the move on Thursday, after the team cancelled its second consecutive practice because of a snowstorm that has dumped more than 5 feet on their facility since Monday.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 242 pounds, Gray appeared in eight games for the Minnesota Vikings this season. Last year, he had two starts in 12 games for the Cleveland Browns.

To make room on their roster, the Bills released running back Phillip Tanner.
