Arizona Coyotes new sweaters leak early

NHL Deputy Commissioner discusses the future of Coyotes hockey, saying it seems like right now they’re led by ‘bush league’ leadership in Glendale, but doesn’t see the team playing anywhere else in the near future.

The Arizona Coyotes unveiled their new-look sweaters for 2015-16 at an NHL Draft party Friday, but when a video of the jerseys hit the team website early, one fan snapped a screen grab before it was taken down.

“We are very excited about our new jerseys and uniforms,” said Coyotes co-owner, president and CEO Anthony LeBlanc in a release.

“We are fortunate to have one of the NHL’s best primary logos and as promised, that remains unchanged. We went through an extensive process with the NHL and Reebok which lasted about a year and produced numerous different uniform combinations. We wanted to maintain the classic design of our old jerseys but create a fresh new look that our fans can be proud of. The final product reflects the very best of those efforts and we are thrilled with the results.”
