Blackhawks give blind fan ‘best day’ of her life

Patrick Sharp and the Chicago Blackhawks gave one special fan a very sweet 16th birthday.

The Blackhawks started their “#WhatsYourGoal” campaign earlier this season (you can watch all of the video spots here) asking fans to submit their goals to them.

Christina, who was born with many challenges in life, including blindness, replied to the team with her wish: to attend a Blackhawks game, in person, at the United Center.

The team did her a couple better: Sharp met her before the game for a trip onto the ice, presented her a new jersey, and offered a visit with the Blackhawks announcing crew.

That’s some real good work by Sharp and the Blackhawks. It’s really friggin’ dusty in here.
