Blackhawks sign forward Jordin Tootoo to one-year contract

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forward Jordin Tootoo to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Tootoo scored four goals and totalled nine points in in 66 games with the New Jersey Devils in 2015-16.

The Nashville Predators selected Tootoo in the fourth round (98th overall) in the 2001 NHL Draft.

Tootoo has registered 63 goals and 158 points in 673 games with the Predators, Detroit Red Wings, and Devils.
