Bulldogs sign Commodore to tryout

The Hamilton Bulldogs have signed defenceman Mike Commodore to a professional tryout contract, the club announced on Thursday.

Commodore is scheduled to join the Bulldogs for practice on Nov. 24.

The 33-year-old has spent parts of 11 seasons in the National Hockey League with the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning.

In 484 regular season games, Commodore has registered 23 goals, 83 assists and 683 penalty minutes.
