Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson had someone special cheering him on in the stands on Sunday.

Anderson’s wife Nicholle, who is battling a rare form of head and neck cancer, hinted on Twitter Saturday that she was feeling spontaneous, leading many fans to believe she was planning to travel to Boston for Game 6 between the Senators and Boston Bruins.

Feeling spontaneous…

Nicholle was easy to spot when she did, in fact, arrive at TD Garden wearing her husband’s No. 41 with a black and gold Senators hat.

Only red jersey in the arena…I hope I don’t get eaten by a bear!

The couple shared a sweet moment following Ottawa’s series-clinching win.

Anderson and the Senators drop the puck on their second-round series against the New York Rangers Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on CBC.
