Ducks sign Alex Dostie to three-year, entry-level contract

As Gene Principe reports, they may be just kids, but the talent level at the Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament is higher than it's ever been.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Alex Dostie to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The 20-year-old centre was drafted in the fourth round buy the Ducks in 2016 and split the 2016-17 season with Gatineau and Charlottetown in the QMJHL.

He joined the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League after the QMJHL to make his professional debut last season.

In 233 career QMJHL regular season games, Dostie registered 86 goals and 137 assists.
