Flames, Bruins could play two pre-season games in China

Gary Bettman addresses media ahead of the All-Star Skills Competition in Tampa Bay, announcing that the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers will all play oversees games next season in order to grow the game.

The NHL could return to China in September.

According to Chris Johnston of Sportsnet, discussions are ongoing for the Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins to play two NHL pre-season games in China.

The Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings played in China prior to this current season.
