Flames sign defenceman Brodie to two-year deal

CALGARY — The Calgary Flames have signed defenceman T.J. Brodie to a two-year contract worth $2,125,000.

Brodie, 23, had two goals and 12 assists in 47 games last season with Calgary.

Prior to joining the Flames for the truncated NHL season, he had a goal and 19 assists in 35 games with Calgary’s AHL team, the Abbotsford Heat.

In the previous season, Brodie had two goals and 12 assists in 54 games with Calgary.
