Gotta See It: Darth Vader falls during AHL game

Darth Vader stole Star Wars night with an unplanned prat fall. (@MonarchsHockey)

Ladies and gentlemen, the lighter side of hockey, courtesy of the Dark Side:

Yes, the most viewed highlight of the now Mike Richards-less Manchester Monarchs’ 3-1 victory over the Portland Pirates on Sunday is Darth Vadar falling on his keister after a forceful glance from Monarchs mascot Max.

For reasons not as important as laughing at an infamous villain slipping on ice like he forgot to remove his skate guards, Max invited a bunch of Star Wars characters to celebrate his birthday at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

And AHL VP of communications Jason Chaimovitch uploaded the unplanned prat fall on Twitter for all to enjoy.
