Kings sign RFA Jonny Brodzinski to two-year extension

The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Jonny Brodzinski to a two-year contract extension, the team announced on Friday.

The contract is worth an annual average value of $650,000 at the NHL level. The first year of the deal is two-way and the second year is one-way.

The 24-year-old made his NHL debut this past season with the Kings, recording two points and plus-two rating in six games. Brodzinski skated in 59 regular-season contests for the AHL’s Ontario Reign in 2016-17 with 49 points and 12 penalty minutes.

The Ham Lake, Minn., was selected by the Kings in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
