Maple Leafs claim Gerber off waivers

The Toronto Maple Leafs have claimed goaltender Martin Gerber off waivers at Wednesday’s deadline.

Gerber was placed on re-entry waivers and then waiver by the Ottawa Senators before being picked up.

The Leafs also claimed New York Rangers defenceman Eric Reitz.
