Stamkos chirps Marner’s and Matthews’ fashion on Twitter

It turns out hockey isn’t the only game at which Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner are killing it.

The Toronto Maple Leafs rookies proved they’re also slaying the fashion game as they entered the Air Canada Centre ahead of their match against the Anaheim Ducks on Monday night.

It’s not often Sports Twitter and Fashion Twitter overlap but both sides seemed to have a lot to say about the pair’s nearly identical suits. (FYI: As a self-proclaimed sports-fashion expert, I’m giving this look an A+.)

The matching fedoras and peacoats are one thing but it’s Matthews’ neckwear that really pulls the whole ensemble together. Who knew a kid from Arizona could tie a scarf so well?

Of course, there were some who didn’t appreciate the level of style-savvy seen here.

NHLers Steven Stamkos and Radko Gudas almost seemed jealous of their ability to pull off the digs.
