The New York Rangers announced Sunday that forward Mika Zibanejad will be out six-to-eight weeks with a broken fibula.
Zibanejad left the game after crashing feet-first into the end boards.
The winger scored a goal in the Rangers’ 3-2 shootout loss to the Florida Panthers. He has five goals and 15 points in 19 games this season.
