The Ottawa Senators are likely to be without winger Milan Michalek for at least two more games because of a knee injury.
Michalek is expected to see a doctor for a second opinion on his knee early this week, which he originally injured during the club’s loss at Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Michalek twisted his knee in the pre-game skate at Pittsburgh and has been sidelined for the past two games.
There was a hope that the winger — who led the club with 35 goals last season — was going to be able to join the club for Monday’s game at New Jersey. But it now seems unlikely that he would play on Monday or on Tuesday, when the Senators host the New York Islanders.
