NHL on Sportsnet: Oilers, Flames, Sens skeds

Sportsnet announced its broadcast schedule of live games for the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Ottawa Senators on Thursday.

Sportsnet will air 60 Flames games on television, with the first telecast on Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. MT on Sportsnet West, when the Flames play the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road. A total of 45 Flames games will air on Sportsnet West, with the other 15 broadcast on the Sportsnet ONE companion channel, Sportsnet Flames.

Sportsnet 960 The FAN will also carry all of the Flames’ games, including the season opener on Oct. 3, when Calgary takes on the Washington Capitals.

Meanwhile, Sportsnet will air 59 Oilers games, with 45 on Sportsnet West, starting on Monday, Oct. 7 when Edmonton hosts the New Jersey Devils at 7:30 p.m. MT. The other 14 games will air on Sportsnet ONE’s companion channel, Sportsnet Oilers.

Sportsnet will also carry more Ottawa Senators games than any Canadian broadcaster, with 54 regular season games, with the first on Oct. 4 against the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet East.

Forty-seven of the Senators’ games will be broadcast on Sportsnet East, with the remaining seven on Sportsnet ONE’s companion channel, Sportsnet Sens.
