Team USA unveiled their Nike-designed sweaters for the Sochi Olympics on Tuesday, and the general consensus was not positive.

The U.S. scrapped their usual block lettering on the front in favour of a shield, a logo originally used at the 1932 Olympics, and also plastered black stars on the shoulders and fake laces on the collar.

It’s not the best effort by Nike given the U.S.’s appealing colour pallet and success with previous renditions. Better luck in 2018.
