ORLANDO, Fla. — Canadian teenage striker Jordan Hamilton scored twice Tuesday as Toronto FC outscored Montverde Academy 4-2 in a pre-season scrimmage.

Robbie Findley and rookie Micheal Ramos also scored for Toronto.

The game featured three 30-minute periods. Toronto led 2-0 before its opposition pulled even, with goals by Hamilton and Ramos securing the win.

Montverde is a renowned Florida high school program whose soccer team has produced more than 55 college scholarship players since coach Mike Potempa took over for the 2010-11 season.

Last month, Montverde completed a perfect season by defeating Texas’ Coppell High School to win the fourth annual Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, extending its unbeaten match streak to 117 under Potempa.
