TORONTO (April 7, 2013) – Sportsnet today announced that it has secured an agreement with the NHL for multimedia rights to 24/7 Red Wings/Maple Leafs: Road to the NHL Winter Classic. The deal includes exclusive Canadian rights for television, online and mobile for the highly-anticipated documentary series.
24/7 Red Wings/Maple Leafs: Road to the NHL Winter Classic will provide an all-access pass to the events leading up to the 2014 NHL Winter Classic, featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings playing outdoors at Michigan Stadium on the University of Michigan campus. The series will air exclusively in Canada on Sportsnet and City (broadcast schedule to be announced at a later date).
