Raptors’ Brown out vs. Hornets, Barnes seeing specialists for broken hand

Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic provides an update on Scottie Barnes after the All-Star broke his hand, discusses what next steps might look like and how the injury will affect the rest of the roster.

The Toronto Raptors will be short-handed for Sunday night’s tipoff against the visiting Charlotte Hornets.

Before the game, the Raptors said Bruce Brown will be out with a knee injury.

The small forward is averaging 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 19 games for the Raptors this season.

Meanwhile, star Scottie Barnes is seeing specialists after suffering a broken hand in Friday night’s loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said surgery is a possibility, but that no decision has been made yet.
