The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired right-handed pitcher Wilmer Font from the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced Wednesday.

Font has appeared in 22 games for the Mets and Tampa Bay Rays as a reliever this season and started three contests with New York, recording an ERA of 5.20 this season. The 29-year-old Venezuela native was dealt from Tampa Bay to the Mets back in May. In 96 innings over the course of five MLB seasons, Font has registered a 4-5 record with a 6.00 ERA.
