Marcus Stroman will start for the Toronto Blue Jays when they host the St. Louis Cardinals in Montreal on March 26.
It will be the first of two exhibition games against the Cardinals.
Stroman had a delayed start to spring training, as shoulder inflammation limited the 26-year-old’s action.
He said he hopes to be able to pitch in Toronto’s opening series against the New York Yankees.
