Blue Jays-Orioles Thursday game moved to 12:05 p.m. ET start

As Barry Davis reports, the Blue Jays will keep Troy Tulowitzki out of the lineup for the remainder of the Baltimore series, but he is eyeing a Friday return in Tampa.

BALTIMORE — Thursday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles has been moved from 7:05 p.m. to 12:05 p.m. because of pending inclement weather across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The decision, announced Wednesday, came after the Orioles monitored National Weather Service reports and consulted with the commissioner’s office.

The series between Toronto and Baltimore has already been affected by rain. Tuesday’s game was washed out and scheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Wednesday.

Hurricane Joaquin could work its way up the East Coast in the next few days and is expected to bring heavy wind and flooding.
