Blue Jays’ Pillar cracks MLB roster for Japan All-Star Series

Outfielder Kevin Pillar will represent the Toronto Blue Jays during the 2018 Japan All-Star Series with Nippon Professional Baseball.

Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly will lead the MLB team, which features four 2018 all-stars: Mitch Haniger, J.T. Realmuto, Yadier Molina and Eugenio Suarez.

The All-Star Series will feature seven games across Japan from Nov. 8-15.

Pillar, primarily known for his defensive prowess, finished the 2018 regular season batting .252 with 15 home runs and 59 RBIs.
