Blue Jays’ top prospect Bo Bichette assigned to triple-A Buffalo

MLB insider Shi Davidi joins Shawn McKenzie to get Blue Jays fans excited at the prospects of seeing Bo Bichette with the big club very soon.

Toronto Blue Jays top prospect Bo Bichette has been assigned to triple-A Buffalo as he returns to action following a hand injury.

Bichette will lead off for the Bisons as they wrap up a three-game road series against the Indianapolis Indians.

The 21-year-old fractured his left hand in April after being hit by a pitch and has been recovering ever since.

He just finished an impressive four-game stint with high-A Dunedin where he had six hits in 11 at-bats, including five walks.

Bichette went 4-for-5 on Wednesday for Dunedin with a double, RBI and two runs scored.
