There have been no shortage of MLB stars speaking out over the Houston Astros cheating scandal and the punishments – or lack thereof – handed out to the players involved.
However, it’s not only those in the baseball world weighing in with their opinions. LeBron James, basketball’s most famous superstar, decided to give his two cents on the issue Tuesday afternoon and didn’t hold back in a pair of tweets.
players speaking today about how disgusted, mad, hurt, broken, etc etc about this. Literally the ball() is in your court(or should I say field) and you need to fix this for the sake of Sports! #JustMyThoughtsComingFromASportsJunkieRegardlessMyOwnSportIPlay

James’s remarks come one day after pointed comments from three-time AL MVP Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels, many of whom consider the face of baseball.
“It’s sad for baseball,” Trout told reporters. “It’s tough. They cheated. I don’t agree with the punishments, the players not getting anything. It was a player-driven thing. It sucks, too, because guys’ careers have been affected. A lot of people lost jobs. It was tough.
“Me going up to the plate knowing what was coming? It would be fun up there. A lot of guys lost respect for some of the guys.”
