Following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 101-91 loss on Christmas Day to the Miami Heat, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade exchanged some intriguing words that could hint at a “Decision 3.0” scenario next summer.
At around the 2:44 mark of the video below, LeBron seemingly suggests at reuniting with Wade. If the volume is turned up enough, the words are pretty easy to understand.
“Like I said, if we aren’t better this year, we’re gonna re-unite again and do some bigger and better things, alright?” LeBron said to Wade after the game.
LeBron eventually explained his side of the story when asked about the chat with Wade.

It was LeBron’s first game in Miami since he left the Heat last summer, plus he and Wade were close, so James may have just been high on emotions and playing around with his former teammate.
It’s understandable to be intrigued by the clip. LeBron has an opt-out clause in his contract. If he so chooses, James could become a free agent after this season and join another team.
The Cavaliers are fifth in the Eastern Conference with an 18-13 record and are five-and-a-half games behind the Toronto Raptors for first place.
