Toronto Raptors backup guard Delon Wright has a dislocated right shoulder, and will travel with the team to New York next week for more tests.

Wright suffered the injury in the second quarter of Wednesday’s victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Raptors said Friday before their game against visiting New York that tests confirmed "an injury consistent with a dislocated right shoulder."

Wright, who missed the first four months of the 2016-17 season after undergoing surgery on the same shoulder, will meet with Dr. Riley Williams at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery.

Wright, 25, is averaging 7.6 points and 20.9 minutes per game this season as the primary backup to starting point guard Kyle Lowry.

The Raptors were down two more bodies against the Knicks on Friday. Serge Ibaka was sidelined with a swollen left knee, while Norman Powell was out with a hip pointer.
